Pressureless Body Realignment is an innovative non-force, non-invasive technique based on the body's self-healing ability. It relies entirely upon the individual's own system of self-balancing reflexes, and is highly effective in the release of discomfort associated with structural tension, misalignment, and postural imbalance. Releases are long-lasting and exquisitely integrated throughout the total body.
During a treatment, tension holding patterns in the body are gently explored and affirmed. In this work the practitioner positions the client in postures that are comfortable and pain free while applying slight compression to trigger self-corrective reflexes in the body and brain. Tense muscles and ligaments relax and stress release, emotional self-awareness and structural balance are encouraged through gentle exercise and postural retraining. Old tension-holding patterns are usually replaced with long-lasting flexibility and ease. Relaxation is enhanced through the use of music, light and aroma therapy during treatments.
We, at the Willow Tree, are honored to be a part of this work. We also feel that it is no accident that the Willow Tree is located in Idaho directly across the Snake River from Ontario, Oregon. You see the founder of Ortho-Bionomy®, Dr. Arthur Pauls used the same principles which Dr. Lawrence Jones developed . Dr. Jones developed his Strain Counterstrain work in Ontario, Oregon. Many of our clients still remember Dr. Jones and they are delighted that we carry on the work in the name of Ortho-Bionomy®.
We have found Ortho-Bionomy ® to be a most effective form of muscle re-education which allows the skeleton to realign after a treatment. Go to www.ortho-bionomy.org for a complete review of the process.
